The Leading Foursome V23-23
The foursome of Kevin Vauquelin (Arkea-Samsic) - there are in yellow since the red looks to much like the leader's jersey - along with Michael Storer (Groupama-FDJ), Andreas Kron (Lotto-Dstny) and Kenny Elissonde (Lidl-Trek) had build up a bit of a gap on the Spandelle in hopes that the peloton wouldn't be interested in chasing them down. They were wrong. The heads of stage all wanted to be the one to win atop the famous Tourmalet.
