Geraint Thomas (Ineos-Grenadiers) wasn't having the best day. When the pace went off in the peloton, he took the opportunity to get his knee that had been injured earlier cleaned up and bandaged. His teammate Jonathan Castroviejo made a quick "nature break" and then waited to help bring his leader back up through the peloton and into the peloton.
