Red Outsprinting Green V23-4
As the peloton rolled up on the intermediate sprint in Stage 5 it was Remeco Evenepoel (Soudal-Quick Step) surprising the Green Jersey of the sprinter Kaden Groves (Alpecin-Deceuninck). Normally the sprinter would get the best of the overall race leader (the Red Jersey), but in this case Evenepoel was looking for the most bonus seconds on offer. Groves' second place made sure that he stayed in the sprinters jersey today.
