Keeping It Red V23-19
It was widely suspected that Sepp Kuss (Jumbo-Visma) would lose the lead in the Vuelta today, but he had other plans. He finished 13th on the day, but that was more than enough to keep him in the Red Jersey of leader of the Vuelta a Espana. Most likely he has always held himself in reserve in past TTs in order to be ready to help his team leaders when their World Tours (he has already done that twice this season) but today, he was racing for himself. And he had the legs to show that he deserves to be a GC contender.
