It was no surprise to find Thomas De Gendt (Lotto-Dstny) riding away from the early break away. It seems that every time I find him to paint, he is off the front of the race on his own. Today, like most, he wasn't able to take it all of the way to the finish. No matter, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
