A Bottle & a Push
Riders frequently will choose to go back to their team car to talk things over with their Director Sportif rather than just chat on their radios. In addition, they can pick up waterbottles, food and with a little extra flip of the wrist a nice push off from the speed of the car. The red car behind in this painting is the referee and they will turn a blind eye to this unless it is done too obviously for a struggling rider or on a steep climb.
