10 Seconds to Go
This is Saxo Bank/Tinkoff lined up on the starting gate counting down to their start. Today's stage was a fast short Team Time Trial that was only 22 minutes of racing, give or take. This is the first image of day two of the 2013 Giro d'Italia and is an original watercolor and ink postcard painted from live race coverage. This is part of the ongoing series of paintings that I will be doing everyday of the Giro.
