We, The People
Loosely based on Delacroix's "Liberty Leads the People" this is a continuation of my series re-envisioning famous paintings from art history through my eyes and seen through contemporary society. This painting celebrates the on-going protest through the country facing down the actions of the current administration. Yes, I am drawing an analogy between the French Revolution and what is happening in the United States.
