Rubber Bullets
This is another work in my series of pieces dealing with both the Covid-19 Pandemic and the Black Lives Matter protests. I was struck by the power of a photograph of Frank Hunt after having been shot in the face by a rubber bullet fired at him by the Richmond Police (or possibly the Virginia State Police) during a peaceful protest. The manufacturers list rubber bullets as a "less lethal" weapon. Frank will most likely lose his eye from this police brutality. I am offering to donate 50% of the print sales of this artwork to the Virginia chapter of the ACLU who are working hard to stop the police from gassing and firing on citizens of Virginia.
