An Analogous Metaphor
While walking downtown I came across a construction crew on their lunch break. They were sitting together on the curb in mixed ethnic, and racial groups taking a break from their labors. It seemed a perfect image for what was necessary for the country after the year that was 2020. A metaphor for the unity and collaboration to rebuild after so much division and destruction. Like most of my figurative art, this is created using Shiva Paintstiks on paper.
