This is a continuation of my homage series. I am looking back through art history at some of my more favorite paintings and using their compositional elements as a jumping off point for my own artworks. This painting is a rift on Gustav Callibotte's "Floor Strippers" from the 1890x. The work is created using oilsticks on paper. You can watch its creation over on my YouTube channel @artofcyclingGreig.
