All Alone at the Line
All four of the Road Races at the Collegiate Nationals were determined by solo breakaways, most that went early on in the race. This is the winner of the final race of the day, Griffin Easter of Fort Lewis College. You can just see the second place rider from Stanford University about a 100 meters behind. Notice, too, that no other cyclist is visible back down the finishing straight of East Broad Street.
