Going Through Town G17-119

The small town at the base of the final climb of the day (well, final catagorized climb) was all decked out for the arrivial of the 100th Giro d'Italia. The first to ride under the arch in the center of town was Matej Mohoric (UAE Team Emirates). The "pennant man" was there to make sure the riders knew which way to go, and just how dangerous it might be. The cobbles and narrow street didn't help the safety factor, and add to that the speed they were carrying off the mountain. However, the fans partying in town were treated to some great racing and fortunately, no crashes either.
