One Biker to Another TdF22-54
One of the downside of painting live, not knowing what is about to happen, is I can form a very incorrect opinion of what is going on in what I choose to paint. This is just such a case. I was intriqued that Alberto Bettiol (EF Education-EasyPost) has suddenly pulled the pin on his solo effort of the front of the large break away. He had built up a 20 second gap on those behind when he suddenly slowed up and joined in a conversation with one of the race motos. In the next post you will discover what the problem was.
