Trying Again PN22-13
Stage 3 of Paris Nice finished with a circuit that included a relatively steep climb that was uncatagorized. The first time around Soren Kraugh Andersen (DSM) went off the front in an attempt to make a solo run to the line. He was pulled back by the Jumbo-Visma lead peloton. Apparently, he was just giving it a trial run the first time. At nearly the same point, he went off the front again. What is the saying about insanity? Isn't it doing the same thing and expecting a different result? But then, cycling at the pro level is a rather insane thing to do for a living (painting it may be equally so). Yet, in this case the result was the same. He gained a slight advantage and then was chased down again by the combined efforts of Jumbo-Visma and Bahrain-Victorious.
