Dancing Away
Popular for his gutsy moves, elastic face and comical tongue, Thomas Voeckler (Europcar) jumped away from the peloton, going on one of his stylistic attacks on the ascent of Holme Moss Hill. He hoped to catch Blel Kadri (AG2R) and Cyril Lemoine (Cofidis) the last two remain members of the early break away. I am sure he would like to start amassing King of the Mountain points, he has worn the Polka Dots for 10 days in the past, as well as holding the Yellow Jersey much longer against Lance Armstrong much longer than any one thought he could. That act alone made him a French National Hero.
