The defending World Champion Ashton Eaton (USA) easily cleared the high bar in his thrid Decathlon event of the day. However this is the other American, Jeremy Taiwo, sailing over the bar. This jump moved Taiwo into the third overall position after three events. Eaton remains in first place.
