A Fast Swap TDF21-81
There must have been some serious panic in the team car of Mark Cavendish (Deceuninck-Quick Step) when he had a flat tire in the last 20 kilometers of the stage. To the mechanics credit it was an incredible fast bike change. The team went for a full bike swap rather than take the time to remove and install a new rear wheel. Cav remain very calm, which I am sure reduced everyone's stress level. Now could he chase back on without spending too much of his energy for the final sprint. If he were to get it right, he would tie the record for career stage wins. No pressure on anyone here.
