Maybe it was the enthusiasm of his first stage of his first Tour de France, on more likely it was that he knew he just claimed the first Maillot a Pois of the 2021 Tour. Nevertheless, Ide Schelling (Bora-Hasgrohe) shook his fist in celebration as he crested the Cote de Saint Rivoal about a minute ahead of the closing peloton. Not bad claiming a leader's jersey in your first day out on the biggest cycling event of the year. Chapeau!
