Emma White was the last of a strong field of Americans to hit the single lap of the individual time trial course through the streets of downtown Richmond, Virginia. While she had the advantage of the time checks from the brilliant ride of her teammate, Chloe Dygert, she was only able to claim the silver medal spot. Gold and the rainbow jersey were taken buy her compatriot, Dygert. Not bad going one two as the host country.
